The Radio Club!

Everyone is sick of school by now; ready to spend their time swimming or hiking outside instead of being stuck inside a school building "learning". But one class makes the day go by faster, and that's The Radio Club. We get to set up the school radio and make playlists for the upcoming day for students, faculty, and all other fans who want to listen in. It's a nice way to express yourself, when all you want to do is listen to music all day...and If you dont like what's being played, then you can always put in your requests to play on sdhs radio. It's pretty cool, you should check it out!

Summer Time, When the Livin' is Easy

Ahh! Even though summer isn't quite here yet, it sure feels like summer! One thing I like to do when the weather gets warmer is role my car windows down, when Im driving and blast my jams. I have to have music, pretty much wherever I am...it just makes my mood better, always. Another thing that makes my mood better, is new album releases! There are so many about to hit stores near you! I was so excited when I heard Amy Winehouse, The Blueman Group, Barry White, and Nelly are releasing their albums the week of May 19th! Check it out!

Local Concerts

Do you not want to travel too far to see bands perform that you enjoy? Well, why not attend one that's pretty much right down the street? ...and by right down the street I mean in Bangor! I was surprised to see so many popular artists playing in Bangor, and since I go shopping in the mall all the time, I could take a night off and go see one of my favorite singers instead! Ho about some Marilyn Manson tickets anyone? Or maybe some Jay-z? If Bangor's too close or far there's a bunch of other places right in Maine that I can check out!
I don't know about you, but I have a pair of Heart Shaped Glasses..and that song that Marilyn Manson does, is awesome! Did you know that when Manson first began in the music industry, his band name was Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids? But apart from his controversial music, did you know that he is pretty much a genius, with an IQ of about 150!?
